The 7th International Conference on Deep and High Stress Mining, hosted by the Australian Center for Geomechanics is fast approaching.  ESG is set to participate in numerous aspects of the event, which runs from 14-18 September at the Radisson Hotel in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.  Details are available below.

Microseismic Workshop:

Technical experts Dr. Dave Collins and Dr. Yuzo Toya are delivering a workshop on September 14, 2014 titled "Getting the most from a seismic system".  This workshop begins with a short introduction to seismic concepts, followed by practical examples of seismic analysis methods. Attendees with laptops will be provided with a short term license version of ESG software and an example dataset.  For more details, please visit the workshop website.  Or visit the Deep Mining 2014 website to Register for the course.

Technical Paper:

Title: 3D Velocity Model with Complex Geology and Voids for Microseismic Location and Mechanism - D. Collins, Y. Toya, I. Pinnock, V. Shumila and Z. Hosseini, ESG Solutions.
Session: Session 13 - Seismicity (3)
Date: Wednesday, 17 September 2014
