ESG Solutions and Rajant Announce Strategic Partnership for Carrying Microseismic Data to Surface for Underground Mining

ESG Solutions, an industry-leading microseismic solutions provider for the oil and gas, mining, and geotechnical industries and Rajant Corporation, the provider of Kinetic Mesh® wireless networks, have completed successful testing with Rajant as the backbone for carrying microseismic data to the surface. Underground and open-pit mining customers will benefit as both companies start deployment trials in October as the last step in the qualification process.

ESG Solutions to partner with Güralp Systems Ltd to supply and install digital accelerometers to Canadian Government for new national Earthquake Early Warning (EEW) network

UK business, Güralp Systems Ltd. has been awarded a contract to supply 190 digital accelerometers to Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) for a national Earthquake Early Warning system (EEW) in Canada. The new network is designed to enhance early detection and warning in areas of moderate to high earthquake hazard and will be concentrated along the west coast of British Columbia, the Ottawa River Valley, and the Saint Lawrence Seaway. The instrumentation will be installed by NRCan in the remotest areas and, in locations close to the major urban centres, by Güralp’s project partner, ESG Solutions of Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Deep Imaging Acquires ESG Solutions, Forming A New Leader in Rock Behavior Insights for Energy and Mining

Deep Imaging, a subsurface imaging and frac diagnostics company, today announced its acquisition of ESG Solutions (Engineering Seismology Group) forming one of the world’s foremost subsurface diagnostics companies. The combined company will offer a robust suite of analytical tools to help upstream oil and gas, mining and geotechnical companies optimize operations.

An Announcement from ESG's President Meena Mackie

We are pleased to announce that Spectris plc. has agreed with SCF Partners, a private equity investor group, for it to acquire ESG Solutions, via an existing company in its portfolio Deep Imaging Technologies, Inc.

ESG Positioned for Accelerated Growth across Seismicity Monitoring Markets

ESG Solutions, an industry leader in borehole and surface-based microseismic technology and services announced today organizational changes to its Kingston and Denver-based operations which will accelerate ESG's continued growth within the energy and mining industries.

ESG Announces Successful Commercial Test of High-temperature, High-pressure Downhole Microseismic System for Hydraulic Fracture Monitoring

ESG Solutions, an industry leader in downhole and surface-based microseismic technology and services announced today that it recently completed a successful commercial test of its new HOTSHOT™ downhole microseismic system in the Eagle Ford shale.  HOTSHOT™ represents ESG’s latest commitment to acquiring the highest quality microseismic data.  The new downhole system was designed specifically for high-temperature, high-pressure operational environments up to 177°C/350°F and 10,000 psi.

Registration Now Open for ESG's 8th Microseismic Symposium

ESG Solutions is excited to announce the 8th edition of its popular Microseismic Symposium. The symposium, which targets ground control, geotechnical specialists and mine engineering professionals, will be held in Kingston, Ontario, Canada on June 9 to 11, 2019.

New Microseismic Analysis Approach Transforms Production Potential

FracMap Clarity™ is a proprietary six-step process that's increasing the value of microseismic data in the upstream oil and gas industry. By breaking down microseismic data in a variety of new ways, and examining the relationships between variables in greater detail, FracMap Clarity™ gives operators a clearer view of fractures created by fluid versus those simply driven by stress. It adds a premium level of insight to ESG's existing FracMap® offering encompassing comprehensive downhole and surface microseismic acquisition, processing and analysis services for hydraulic fracturing operations.

ESG Solutions' Energy Services Unit Announces Milestone: 1.2 million passive microseismic events acquired and processed in 2017

ESG Solutions is excited to announce that it has acquired and processed a record number of passive microseismic events in 2017. One of the reasons for this milestone, according to Shan Jhamandas, General Manager of Energy Services, is the increase in hydraulic fracturing activity across North America. Also contributing to the record number of events acquired and processed is that completions are becoming more complex and diagnostic tools are becoming more important. John Greff, North America Director of Sales for ESG's energy services unit, notes that "oil and gas operators continue to test and refine their completion designs, including; increased proppant concentration, higher cluster counts, increased stage counts, and longer laterals."

ESG Solutions Powers Innovative Well Completion Evaluations for Hydraulic Fracturing

ESG Solutions, an industry leader in microseismic solutions for the oil and gas and mining industries, has developed advanced analytical applications for microseismic data that helps operators understand the effectiveness of different fracturing techniques, and predict the capability of a fracture network to sustain the flow of hydrocarbons back to the well. The study on fracture effectiveness will be presented as a Keynote paper at the Society of Petroleum Engineers – Hydraulic Fracturing Technology Conference held in The Woodlands, Texas from January 23 to 25 in 2018.
