ESG recently held its 7th Microseismic Symposium and Workshop in Sudbury, Ontario this past June. Innovation and Technology in Passive Microseismic - A Magnitude of New Ideas aimed to showcase the latest advances in passive microseismic monitoring for the mining industry while providing a forum to gather feedback from seismic users on appropriate directions for integrated seismic monitoring moving forward.
Following the successful event, ESG is hosting a similar event for geotechnical, engineering and ground control professionals in Val-d'Or, Québec on October 24, 2016. The event will take place over 1 day and include concurrent sessions for industry relevant presentations (Symposium) and a hands-on seismic equipment workshop. Further details about the event will be released shortly.
If you would like more information about the Québec Microseismic Symposium and Workshop, please contact us at ESGSymposium@esgsolutions.com.
The symposium program highlight new approaches for analysis of mine seismicity while the workshop focuses on training, maintenance and practical use of the ESG seismic system.
